A substitution is illegal if it exceeds the limits of Rule 15.6 or involves an unregistered player.
If play resumed after an illegal substitution: point and serve to the opponents, the substitution is corrected, and points scored by the team at fault since the illegal substitution are cancelled (opponent points stand).
